This product combines an all-day hop-on hop-off tram pass with a return gondola ticket. Collect your ticket at the Christchurch Attractions booking office at Cathedral Junction (109 Worcester Street), or from 10:00 AM at the gondola base station. Use each attraction any time during its opening hours.
Explore the city center by heritage tram
Tour the city aboard a heritage tram with fun live commentary from the driver. The full loop takes about 50 minutes, and you can hop on and off as often as you like at 18 stops. Visit places such as Riverside Market, the Christchurch Botanic Gardens, Cathedral Junction and the Canterbury Museum. Trams run every 15 minutes, with up to 5 trams operating depending on the season.
Ride the gondola to the top of the Port Hills
Ride the gondola up the slopes of Mount Cavendish in the Port Hills to the summit at 445 m above sea level. Enjoy 360-degree views over the Canterbury Plains and the Southern Alps, looking out over the city and the harbor.
Enjoy the Discovery Ride and walks at the summit
At the summit, take the Discovery Ride that brings the history of the region to life and browse the gift shop. Walk or cycle the nature trails and recharge at the Red Rock Café before or after.

How to get there:
The gondola is about 15 minutes from the city center and about a 10-minute drive from Lyttelton Port. Take bus No. 8 toward Lyttelton from the City Bus Interchange on Litchfield Street; it stops at the gondola base station. Transportation costs extra, and the gondola shuttle runs only in summer, so please ask on the day. Free parking is available at the gondola.
