This ticket combines a punt ride on the Avon River with a Christchurch Gondola ticket. The gondola ticket can be used any time during opening hours, and for the punt, contact the operator directly after booking to reserve your time slot.

Glide along the Avon River in an Edwardian punt

Sit back in a flat-bottomed punt steered by a guide in Edwardian costume and float along the Avon River for 30 minutes with live commentary. Pass through beautiful Hagley Park or the center of Christchurch and see the city from a different perspective. On cold days, blankets and umbrellas are provided.

Take in 360-degree views from the gondola

From the glass-enclosed gondola cabin, enjoy 360-degree views of the plains, mountains, city and harbor. See the Southern Alps to the west, the Kaikoura Ranges to the north, Christchurch harbor to the south and the Pacific Ocean to the east.

Enjoy the Discovery Ride and walks at the summit

At the summit, travel back in time on the Discovery Ride and learn about the development of the region. Pick up souvenirs at the Shop at the Top, relax at the Red Rock Café, or walk one of the trails, including along the crater rim formed by the volcanic activity that created the Port Hills.
