Meet your driver-guide at a designated hotel in downtown Auckland (CBD) and travel by van to Rotorua. The drive takes about 3.5 hours each way, and your guide provides live commentary and guidance throughout the day.
Enjoy a 2-hour wellness journey
at Wai Ariki Hot Springs & Spa
Wai Ariki Hot Springs & Spa is a wellness destination inspired by the ancient healing traditions of the Ngāti Whakaue people. During the journey of about 2 hours, you experience heat, mineral-rich hot water, natural mud and steam in a set sequence to relax body and mind.
Surrounded by Rotorua's geothermal landscape, you can feel the natural elements that have supported Māori wellbeing for generations. You spend about 2.5 hours here.
Walk above the forest on the Redwoods Treewalk
After the spa, head to the Redwoods Treewalk. Walk along a series of walkways suspended high above the forest floor among towering redwoods, enjoying fresh forest air, birdsong and sunlight filtering through the canopy. After the walk, return to Auckland by van for hotel drop-off.
