The tour over all was great and the guide Alt was also very good and very helpful. I would suggest, however, to spend less time at Clifton Hill - it's just so tacky there with nothing to do except go to amusement parks and eat junk food. I would have preferred if we stayed a bit longer at the horseshoe and/or at the pretty town of Niagra-on-the-Lake. We only had about 40-45mins in each of these, whilst over four hours at Clifton Hill, which in my opinion is far too long. Otherwise great tour and guide.

Well worth it… we loved our time at Niagara- Peter the driver was great pointing out various bits… the bus was not the most comfortable… but I guess it is what it is!

Highlights

This tour departs Toronto in the afternoon so you can see Niagara Falls by day and lit up at night. Drive along the Niagara Parkway past the Whirlpool Rapids, view the Horseshoe Falls up close from Table Rock, and enjoy free time at Clifton Hill and around the falls. Depending on your option, enjoy the Niagara City Cruises boat (Journey Behind the Falls in winter), or have a 3-course dinner at Queen Victoria Place overlooking the falls followed by night views from the Illumination Tower. Program

Depart Toronto and
drive along the Niagara Parkway

Meet in front of Tim Hortons at 55 York St in Toronto and travel for about 1.5 hours by climate-controlled coach. Your local guide shares the history, geology and stories of Niagara Falls in English. Follow the Niagara Parkway, taking in the Niagara River and the Whirlpool Rapids on the way to the Table Rock Welcome Centre.

Free time at Table Rock
and Clifton Hill

At Table Rock, feel the power and mist of the Horseshoe Falls close to its edge. Then spend about 1 hour at Clifton Hill and about 1 hour around the falls, browsing shops or strolling along the falls at your own pace.

Upgrade with a boat cruise
or dinner

With the boat option, ride Niagara City Cruises close to the Horseshoe Falls from roughly May to October; from November to April, when boats do not operate, it is replaced by Journey Behind the Falls. A souvenir poncho is included with the boat or Journey experience. With the dinner option, enjoy a 3-course meal at Queen Victoria Place for about 1.5 hours, then get exclusive access to the Illumination Tower for about 20 minutes of night views over the falls.

See the falls lit up at night

After dark, enjoy about 45 minutes of viewing Niagara Falls lit up in vibrant colors. On select summer evenings you may see fireworks over the falls, and in winter the Winter Festival of Lights across Niagara Parks. At the end, return by coach to the original meeting point in Toronto.
