We had a wonderful trip from Toronto to Niagara Falls. The extra things made a huge difference- stopping at the maple tasting, lunch at the Sheraton with $$$ views and Niagara lake. Jonny was a very knowledgeable tour guide which made all the difference.

Boat trip

Highlights

This day tour departs from Toronto and follows the scenic Niagara Parkway to Niagara Falls, stopping at several attractions along the way. With a certified guide, visit Niagara-on-the-Lake, the Floral Clock and the Whirlpool Aero Car while learning about the history and geography of the region. With the boat cruise option, ride Niagara City Cruises right up to the base of the Horseshoe Falls. At the falls, enjoy about 3 hours of free time for lunch and sightseeing, and an option with lunch included is also available.

Program

Depart Toronto
and drive along the Niagara Parkway

The option without the boat departs from near Tim Hortons Coffee Shop in downtown Toronto, while the boat cruise options depart from Toronto hotels. A certified English-speaking guide explains the history and geography of the region along the way, and a free bottle of water is provided.

Explore Niagara-on-the-Lake and Parkway sights

Spend about 45 minutes in historic Niagara-on-the-Lake, then stop for photos at the Whirlpool Aero Car (ride at extra cost), Living Water Wayside Chapel and the Floral Clock. Along the way, see Fort George, Brock's Monument, the Sir Adam Beck Generating Station, the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens, the Welland Canal and vineyards.

Cruise to the base of the Horseshoe Falls

Admire the falls for about 1 hour at Table Rock Welcome Centre. With the boat cruise option, board Niagara City Cruises' "Voyage to the Falls" (about 45 minutes) to the base of the Horseshoe Falls. In winter (November 30 to April 30), the boat is replaced by Journey Behind the Falls or the Skylon Tower.

Enjoy free time at the falls

Spend about 3 hours on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls for lunch, shopping and strolling at your leisure. With the lunch option, enjoy lunch at the Falls View restaurant of the Sheraton on the Falls hotel overlooking the falls. Then return to Toronto.

※ The Whirlpool Aero Car ride and Journey Behind the Falls (optional) are at extra cost.
※ The itinerary is for reference only and is subject to change.
