We did the nine hour tour from Toronto to Niagara on the lake and the Falls with the boat ride. Alex our driver and guide was really knowledgeable helpful. I’m full of information about the trip and Canada in General. The fools and the boat ride were fantastic and experience getting up so close to them. Would recommend this trip to anyone.

Our guide was super good and gave lots in good info about Canada, the Falls etc. The onlt downside was the time we had at Niagara by the lake which was badically nothing. We barely got to see the beach and then run back to the bus, that felt very rushed. If I would do it again I would book a stay at Niagara by the lake.

Highlights

This guided day trip leaves Toronto early, visits Niagara Falls via Niagara-on-the-Lake and returns before 5 PM. Stroll freely through the historic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake and stop for photos at the hydroelectric station, the Niagara Gorge and the Whirlpool along the Niagara Parkway. You get up to 3 hours of free time at the falls, and with the boat option you can enjoy the Voyage to the Falls boat (or the Skylon Tower observation deck when the boat is not operating). Guides and vehicles are certified by the Niagara Parks Commission.

Program

Depart Toronto and
stop at Niagara-on-the-Lake

Depart from Tim Hortons in Etobicoke (7:25 AM) or Hasty Market in downtown Toronto (8:15 AM) and travel about 1.5 hours by air-conditioned bus. Along the way, your guide shares local stories in English, and you have about 45 minutes to explore the historic Old Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Follow the Niagara Parkway
to the gorge and Whirlpool

Drive along the scenic Niagara Parkway beside the Niagara River and admire the riverside mansions. Stop with your guide for photos at the Sir Adam Beck hydroelectric station, the Niagara Gorge and the Niagara Whirlpool.

Free time at the falls

At Niagara Falls on the Canadian side, enjoy up to 3 hours of free time to stroll and explore Clifton Hill. With the boat option, your guide shows you to the cruise departure point to board the Voyage to the Falls boat and get close to the falls. When the boat is not operating, you go up the Skylon Tower observation deck instead. Afterwards, the bus returns to your departure point in about 1 hour 45 minutes.
