From Vancouver: Victoria & Butchart Gardens Day Tour - Small Group

Depart from downtown Vancouver
and head to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal

Meet at 909 W Cordova St in downtown Vancouver and travel about 45 minutes by bus to the BC Ferries Tsawwassen Terminal. Along the way, your guide explains the history, culture and landscapes of the region.

Sail past the Gulf Islands by ferry

Board the ferry at Tsawwassen and sail past the Gulf Islands to Vancouver Island. During the roughly 1.5-hour crossing of the Strait of Georgia, relax, enjoy the views and take photos. Keep your camera ready, as you may spot seals or whales during the crossing.

Wander the themed gardens of The Butchart Gardens

On Vancouver Island, explore The Butchart Gardens at your own pace for about 2 hours. Visit the Sunken Garden, Japanese Garden, Italian Garden and Rose Garden, each with its own atmosphere, and stroll past seasonal flowers, ponds, fountains and walking paths.

Enjoy free time in downtown Victoria

Pass through historic Chinatown and along the Inner Harbour to downtown Victoria. During about 2 hours of free time, visit the Empress Hotel, the Royal BC Museum, Fisherman's Wharf and the BC Parliament Buildings, or enjoy shopping and a stroll.

After free time, return to Vancouver by ferry (about 1.5 hours) and bus (about 45 minutes). The tour ends back at 909 W Cordova St.
