From Vancouver: Butchart Gardens & Victoria Minibus Day Tour

Cross the Strait of Georgia
on a BC Ferries vessel

Meet at Canada Place in front of the Vancouver Convention Centre and travel by minibus for about 1 hour, then board a BC Ferries vessel for a roughly 1.5-hour sailing past the Gulf Islands to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island. Guide commentary and onboard entertainment accompany you throughout the tour.

Explore downtown Victoria
by vehicle and on foot

After a drive of about 75 minutes from Swartz Bay, arrive in Victoria and spend about 30 minutes touring downtown by bus, including the Inner Harbour, the Fairmont Empress Hotel, Mile 0 and historic Chinatown. If you wish, you can also join an optional guided walk of about 45 minutes.

Then enjoy about 1 hour of free time to explore the shops, restaurants and bars of downtown Victoria at your own pace.

Stroll through the themed gardens
of the Butchart Gardens

Travel about 45 minutes from Victoria to the Butchart Gardens, a National Historic Site. Spend about 1 hour 45 minutes exploring around 220,000 square meters of themed gardens, including the Sunken Garden created from a former limestone quarry, the Japanese Garden, the Italian Garden and the Rose Garden.

Return to Vancouver by ferry

Drive about 30 minutes from the Butchart Gardens to the ferry terminal and sail back to the mainland on BC Ferries for about 1.5 hours. A bus ride of about 45 minutes brings you back to Canada Place, where the tour ends.
