Einmal mehr einem Wasserflugzeug fliegen, das war der Gr7nd für die Buchung. Sanfter Flug, wunderschöne Aussicht und gute Organisation. Rundum schöner Ausflug. Victoria ist immer einen Ausflug wert. Die Kombi aus Hinreise mit dem Wasserflugzeug und Rückreise mit Bus und Fähre hat es zu einem runden Erlebnis gemacht.

Bis zum Rücktransport war alles super. 6,5 Std toll. Der Rücktransport hat dann geschlagene 5,5 Stunden gedauert!!!!!5,5 Stunden Bus - Fähre - Bus, futsch war die Entspannung. Ein Hinweis auf die lange Rückfahrt hätte uns dazu veranlasst einen anderen Rückweg zu buchen.

Unfortunately we had bad weather in Vancouver so our flight was delayed by at least 2 hours which meant our time in Victoria was shorter. Also due to cloud we didn’t quite get the views from the sea plane we were hoping for. Thankfully the staff kept us fully informed and worked hard to make sure we were able to still get to Victoria.

Diesen Ausflug kann ich allen empfehlen, die das Wasserflugzeug und die Stadt Victoria erleben wollen. Alles hat perfekt geklappt. Die Beschreibung über den Ablauf von GetYourGuide war absolut hilfreich und auch am Harbour Air wurde uns noch einmal alles über die Rückfahrt mit der Ferry erklärt. Man muss wissen, dass bei der Rückfahrt der Bus nicht zwingend die Farbe und das Logo von BC Ferries hat. Unser Bus war Rot. Victoria ist schön, man kann in den 5 Stunden Aufenthalt Downtown, Fishermen‘s Warf und Chinatown ohne Zeitdruck besichtigen und etwas essen. Die Rückfahrt dauert etwas, aber das weiß man vorher. Der Bus hält in Vancouver an verschiedenen Haltestellen.

Fly by seaplane
to Victoria's Inner Harbour

Check in at the Harbour Air counter at the Vancouver Harbour Flight Centre and board your seaplane for a 35-minute flight to Victoria. After takeoff, enjoy views of Stanley Park, the Lions Gate Bridge, Burrard Inlet and the Strait of Georgia, and watch the city skyline give way to rugged coastline as you fly over the Gulf Islands. The plane lands in the Inner Harbour in the heart of downtown Victoria.

Explore downtown Victoria at your own pace

After arrival, explore Victoria freely until the afternoon coach check-in. Visit historic landmarks such as the Parliament Buildings or the Fairmont Empress, stroll through Beacon Hill Park and along the waterfront, and enjoy local dining and boutique shopping.

Return by coach and ferry through Active Pass

When you are done, board the BC Ferries Connector coach at Capital City Station and travel to Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal. Then sail through Active Pass, taking in views of the Southern Gulf Islands, and with luck spot some marine wildlife. After the sailing, reboard the coach for the ride back to Vancouver.

Sample schedule: 8:50 AM check in at Harbour Air terminal → 9:30 AM seaplane departs → 10:15 AM free time in Victoria → 3:15 PM coach check-in at Capital City Station → 3:45 PM BC Ferries Connector departs → 5:00 PM ferry sailing → approx. 7:40 PM arrive in Vancouver
