From Vancouver: Garibaldi Lake or Joffre Lakes Guided Hike - Small Group

Depart Vancouver and head
to an alpine lake trail

Your day starts at a designated pickup point in downtown Vancouver. Travel about 2 hours by vehicle along scenic mountain roads to the trailhead. At the trail, your local guide leads the group at a steady pace, helps with route-finding, and makes time for photos and rest breaks along the way.

Discover the glacial lake at Garibaldi Lake

Garibaldi Lake is one of British Columbia's most iconic alpine lake hikes. After a steady climb through the forest, a glacier-formed lake appears, surrounded by mountains, glaciers and alpine landscapes.

Explore the three turquoise Joffre Lakes

Joffre Lakes is famous for its sparkling turquoise water and dramatic mountain backdrop. Visit the Lower, Middle and Upper Joffre Lakes in turn, with time to enjoy the views, take photos and rest. No technical climbing is needed to reach all three lakes, but the trail has steep, rocky and uneven sections.

Spend the day on the mountain and return to Vancouver

Spend about 8 hours on the trail with your guide, hiking uphill and over uneven terrain. After the hike, travel about 2 hours back by vehicle to the drop-off point in Vancouver.
