Collect your ticket at the ARTOUR office above Colosseo metro station, then skip the ticket office line and head straight to the gate. Depending on the option, you can choose the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill only; the Colosseum 1st and 2nd tiers plus the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill; the arena (25 minutes) plus the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill; or the full Colosseum including the arena plus the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.

Tour the amphitheater while listening to the history and fascinating stories of the Colosseum on the smartphone audio guide app. With any option, you can see the underground dungeons from above without going down, and with the arena option you also step onto the arena floor where gladiators fought. An internet connection is needed to download the app.

Explore the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill freely

You can visit the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill at any time on the day of your Colosseum visit or the following day, with no fixed time slot. Both sites share one entrance, and you can enter only once.
