Enjoy a private Korean BBQ meal where your host Jason grills every cut at the table and explains the cuts and techniques as you eat. A PhD in tourism and a food and beverage columnist, he takes care of everything from choosing the cuts to controlling the heat and timing each piece, so all you have to do is sit back, eat and ask questions. Over the meal, you'll naturally learn about Korean BBQ culture, regional differences and the stories behind the food. The dinner takes place at either Tamra Doyaji in Gangnam or Dadogine Charcoal Grill in Hongdae (Hapjeong), and you'll take home Jason's hand-picked meat-dipping salt to recreate Korean BBQ at home.

Enjoy Korean BBQ grilled at your table
by your host
This roughly 1.5-hour Korean BBQ meal is private for your group only. Your host Jason selects the cuts, controls the heat and times each piece so it is served at exactly the right moment. There's no need to stand over a hot grill — just relax, eat and ask anything you like.
Dine while hearing stories about meat and culture

While grilling, Jason talks about the meat, techniques, Korean BBQ culture and small details most visitors never hear. He holds a PhD in tourism, works as a food and beverage columnist and has spent years studying Korean BBQ culture, regional differences and the rituals around food. There's no rehearsed script — it feels like sharing a meal with a knowledgeable friend.
Eat at a BBQ restaurant locals love

The meal takes place at either Tamra Doyaji near Gyodae Station in Gangnam or Dadogine Charcoal Grill near Hapjeong Station. After booking, message your host with your preferred area and the food you'd like to try, and the restaurant will be chosen to suit your accommodation, tastes and schedule. If you don't specify a preference, the meal will be held at Tamra Doyaji in Gangnam.
Take home Korean BBQ know-how and dipping salt

By the end of the meal, you'll know which cuts to order, how to grill them properly and how to season them. You can also take home Jason's hand-picked meat-dipping salt so you can enjoy Korean BBQ again at home.
