Make your own wooden chopsticks
in a workshop in Insa-dong

This is a one-hour hands-on class in Insa-dong, Seoul, where you make a pair of wooden chopsticks yourself. A kit with professional tools is provided, and the instructor guides you step by step in English, Korean or Japanese, so no woodworking experience is needed. You take your finished chopsticks home.

Choose your wood and shape it by hand

You start by choosing one of two basic types of wood, which are included in the price. For an extra fee, you can also choose from 8 types of premium wood. You carve the wood with the tools, sand it smooth and finish it with natural oil.

Engrave a name for a personal souvenir

If you like, you can add laser engraving. You can have the name of your favorite K-Pop idol or your own name engraved in Korean, English or Japanese. The pair of chopsticks you made becomes a souvenir of your trip to Seoul.
