Walk the Gwanak Campus

Founded in 1946, Seoul National University sits at the foot of Gwanaksan Mountain, on a campus surrounded by nature. The tour starts at the Main Gate and the Administration Building, symbols of SNU, and a current student guide shows you around the campus in English and Chinese for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Explore the Central Library and the College of Engineering

Follow the tree-lined central road to the Central Library. Then visit the College of Engineering, a hub of Korea's technological and innovative development, and look around the Cultural Center, which hosts concerts, exhibitions and student performances.

See the SNU Museum of Art designed by Rem Koolhaas

Visit the SNU Museum of Art (MoA), designed by architect Rem Koolhaas, and learn about the role the university has played in shaping modern Korean politics, science and culture. Along the way, your guide shares stories of notable alumni, including former Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, as well as student traditions such as the annual Daedongje festival, club activities at the Student Union and the lively café culture around campus.

Enjoy a Q&A with students and free time

The tour includes an interactive Q&A of about 30 minutes with current SNU students. After the guided tour, you can hike the scenic trails of Gwanaksan Mountain behind the campus, relax at a café near Nakseongdae, or head into central Seoul to explore museums and shopping areas.
