Design and make your own silver jewelry
with Hangeul letters

This 2-hour silver jewelry workshop takes place at a studio in the City Star Mall underground shopping center near Seoul City Hall. Using silver Hangeul consonant and vowel units, you create your own jewelry featuring a favorite word or name.

Choose your word and type of jewelry

First, choose a word with special meaning, such as your own name, the name of a loved one or a word you want to remember. Pick the type of jewelry you want to make from a necklace, earrings, a bracelet, a keychain or a brooch, and choose your preferred font: Gothic or handwriting style.

Fix the letters with silver soldering and polish

Once your design is set, learn the silver soldering technique to fix each consonant and vowel in place. Finally, clean and polish the silver surface to complete your piece. Even with no experience, the professional instructor guides you step by step throughout the workshop.

Take home one-of-a-kind Hangeul jewelry

Your Hangeul jewelry is made with letters handcrafted from sterling silver at the studio. The studio is near Gwanghwamun and City Hall, so after the experience you can stroll to nearby palaces or along Cheonggyecheon Stream.

※ Up to two Hangeul characters are included; an extra KRW 20,000 is charged per syllable from the third syllable.
※ If you prefer a sterling silver chain instead of the silver-plated chain, you can change it on site for an additional fee.
