Highlights

This day tour takes you by bus from Seoul to three autumn highlights in northern Gyeonggi-do. Stroll through the pink muhly and kochia fields of Yangju Nari Park, then see the emerald lake and cliffs of Pocheon Art Valley, a former granite quarry turned art space. Finish at Herb Island, where Mediterranean-style buildings and flower gardens make great photo backdrops. Admission to all three sites, round-trip bus and an English/Chinese-speaking guide are included.

Program

Depart from Seoul and visit
three autumn spots in northern Gyeonggi-do

Meet at your selected spot in Seoul in the morning and travel by air-conditioned bus to Yangju Nari Park, Pocheon Art Valley and Herb Island. An English/Chinese-speaking guide accompanies you, and admission to all three sites is included.

Stroll through pink muhly and kochia fields at Nari Park

Arriving around 11:00 AM, Yangju Nari Park is famous for its pink muhly and red kochia fields from late September through October. Spend about 1 hour 30 minutes exploring the fields with your guide and taking photos. Afterwards, enjoy about an hour for lunch at a local restaurant (at your own expense).

Walk around Pocheon Art Valley, a revived old quarry

Pocheon Art Valley is a former granite quarry transformed into an art space, with Cheonjuho Lake, rock cliffs, outdoor sculptures and art installations, walking trails and Korean drama filming locations. Spend about 1 hour 30 minutes walking, enjoying the scenery and taking photos. The monorail fee is not included.

Enjoy Mediterranean-style streets and gardens at Herb Island

Finally, spend about 2 hours at Herb Island, an herb-themed attraction in Pocheon. Enjoy Mediterranean-style buildings, flower gardens, seasonal lights, cafés, exhibitions and DIY activities. After the tour, return to Seoul, ending near Hongik University Station around 8:00 PM.
