Meet your English-speaking guide at 9:00 AM at the main entrance of the Renaissance Shanghai Yu Garden Hotel. Travel by bus to visit Shanghai's old town, a nearby water town, and the Bund in a single day. Admission to Yu Garden (Tuesday to Sunday) or the Jade Buddha Temple (Monday), admission to Kezhi Garden in Zhujiajiao, and Shanghai-style snacks are included.

Stroll through Yu Garden and Shanghai Old Street

At the 400-year-old Yu Garden, admire pavilions, ponds, and rockeries in classical Chinese garden style. Then explore Shanghai Old Street around the City God Temple and soak up the lively local atmosphere, with an optional tea house visit depending on your interests. On Mondays, admission to the Jade Buddha Temple is included instead of Yu Garden.

Ride the bus to Zhujiajiao Water Town

Around 11:40 AM, board the bus for the roughly one-hour ride to Zhujiajiao Water Town. On arrival, enjoy a light Shanghai-style meal and snacks. Afterwards, visit Kezhi Garden in Zhujiajiao, known as the "Venice of Shanghai," and see its ancient stone bridges, quiet canals, and traditional gardens.

End the day with the Shanghai skyline at the Bund

Around 3:30 PM, head back to Shanghai and arrive at the Bund around 6:00 PM. Admire the buildings of the Bund, known as the "Museum of International Architecture," as your guide shares its history. The official tour ends at the Bund, and you are free to enjoy the night view afterwards.
