In the evening, meet your guide at Exit E of Nanluoguxiang Station to start the tour. Step slightly off the tourist trail and stroll old alleys such as Nanluoguxiang and Mao'er Hutong, taking a close look at old Beijing's architecture and local life. See the Beijing Central Axis at the Drum and Bell Tower Square

Visit the Bell Tower and Drum Tower Square on the Beijing Central Axis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As the sun sets, feel how the lights change the atmosphere of the city.

Enjoy snacks and Mongolian hotpot with the food option

With the food option (6:00 PM departure, about 3.5 hours), taste smooth imperial yogurt and traditional snacks along the way, then have dinner of Mongolian hotpot and beer at a hidden hotpot spot loved by locals in the hutongs. The walking-only option (7:00 PM departure, about 2.5 hours) focuses on the hutong walk without food.

Pass Yandaixie Street and finish at Houhai

Walk along Yandaixie Street, known as Tobacco Pipe Lane, and across Yinding Bridge, finishing the tour around Houhai Bar Street.
