The China Science and Technology Museum is a national comprehensive science museum in the center of Beijing Olympic Park. Discover the science behind ancient Chinese inventions

The "Glory of China" zone showcases the technological achievements and traditional crafts of ancient China. See and touch carefully restored inventions such as the south-pointing chariot, Zhang Heng's seismograph, water wheels and traditional looms. The focus is on the engineering behind these inventions and the wisdom of ancient astronomy, mechanics and architecture.

See dinosaur fossils and high-voltage discharge demonstrations up close

The "Exploration and Discovery" zone covers basic sciences including space, the microscopic world, mechanics, acoustics, optics and electromagnetism. See giant dinosaur fossil skeletons and live Faraday cage high-voltage discharge demonstrations, and watch how a simulated tornado forms and how light refracts.

Try the rocket models and spacecraft docking simulator

In the "Science, Technology and Life" zone, you will find a huge Long March rocket model and a Shenzhou spacecraft docking simulator. Play chess against AI robots or try the smart driving system of new energy vehicles to experience the latest technology.
