Leave Hurghada to see
the highlights of Cairo and Giza in one day

Early in the morning, travel from your Hurghada hotel to Cairo in an air-conditioned minivan or bus. On arrival, meet your guide and head straight to the Giza Plateau.

Explore the Giza Pyramids and Great Sphinx with an Egyptologist

Explore the Giza Pyramids, the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and visit the mortuary temples of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure while learning how they were built and the legends surrounding them. Then see the Great Sphinx, attributed to the pharaoh Khafre, and the Valley Temple. You can add a camel or horse ride if you wish (extra charge).

Have lunch at a local restaurant and head to the Nile

Enjoy a barbecue lunch at a local restaurant. If your option includes a boat ride, you will take a boat on the Nile after lunch.

Visit the Egyptian Museum or the Grand Egyptian Museum

Head to Tahrir Square to visit the Egyptian Museum, home to a vast collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities. If you choose a Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) option, you will visit the GEM instead. After the museum and some shopping time, return to Hurghada for drop-off at your hotel.
