Begin at the Valley of the Kings, the burial ground of ancient royalty. It is home to the tombs of pharaohs such as Thutmose I and III, Tutankhamun, Ramses VI, Merenptah and Amenhotep II.

See the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon

Continue to the Temple of Hatshepsut (Deir el-Bahari), built by Hatshepsut, the female pharaoh who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (around 1500 BC). Then visit the Colossi of Memnon, the remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III.

Walk through Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple on the East Bank

Cross to the East Bank to visit the vast Karnak Temple, dedicated to the god Amun, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. The tour ends at Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty and completed by Ramses II of the 19th Dynasty. Afterwards, you will be dropped off at your hotel in Luxor or at Luxor Airport.
