Depart from your hotel lobby in Chongqing around 7:30 a.m. and travel about 3 hours to Wulong by private car. A professional driver familiar with mountain roads drives a clean, spacious air-conditioned vehicle and takes you straight to the entrance of each site without going through the crowded visitor center. Explore the giant Three Natural Bridges
Arrive around 10:30 a.m. at the Three Natural Bridges of Wulong Karst, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. Skip the steep climb with the sightseeing elevator, then spend about 2 hours walking along the three giant stone arches with guide commentary and free time.
Have lunch at a local family-run restaurant
Around noon, enjoy a countryside-style lunch made with fresh ingredients at a local family-run restaurant in Xiannvshan Town for about 1 hour. Bottled water is also provided.
Walk through Longshuixia Gorge and its waterfalls
Around 1:20 p.m., head straight to Longshuixia Gorge (Longshuixia Difeng) and spend about 2 hours walking along the deep fissure gorge and waterfalls. After the tour, relax on a drive along the Wu River and arrive back at your hotel around 6:00 p.m.
