Its bathing facilities were renovated and reopened in summer 2017, and from the open-air bath you can relax while viewing both Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji. Ryuguden Honkan is a day-trip onsen facility on the shore of Lake Ashi, at the western foot of Mt. Komagatake in Hakone. Its bathing facilities were renovated and reopened in summer 2017. Just show your QR code at the entrance to start bathing.
See Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji from the open-air bath
From the open-air bath, you can enjoy the hot spring while viewing Lake Ashi and Mt. Fuji at the same time. It is a great place to stop and relax during your Hakone sightseeing.
Bring your own towel or arrange one on site
Towels are not included in the bath ticket. Please bring your own or arrange one separately on site. The adult fare includes the 50-yen bathing tax.

Take the Izuhakone Bus from JR Odawara Station (about 1 hour 20 minutes) or from Hakone-Yumoto Station (about 1 hour 5 minutes). Get off at the "Hakone-en" stop and the facility is right there. By car, it is about 45 minutes from Atsugi IC on the Tomei Expressway via Otome Pass.
