From Madrid: Segovia Tour - Cathedral & Alcázar Entry Options

Take a coach from Madrid
to Segovia

Meet at the Julià Travel office in Madrid and travel to Segovia in an air-conditioned coach for about 80 minutes. From the moment you step off the bus, the scenery of this charming historic town unfolds.

There are three options. With the self-guided option, the guide tells you the meeting point and the return time to Madrid, and cathedral entry is included so you can explore at your own pace. The Alcázar option and the Cathedral & Alcázar option are run as guided walking tours.

Start the walking tour at the 2,000-year-old Roman aqueduct

The guided walking tour begins at the Aqueduct of Segovia, a well-preserved work of Roman engineering. Learn how it was built without cement and the route the water took to the city center.

Then walk up to Plaza Mayor through historic streets, passing Casa de los Picos decorated with 617 granite points, Plaza Medina del Campo with the Church of San Martín built in 1117, and the Lozoya Tower.

At Plaza Mayor you can see sights such as the City Hall, the Juan Bravo Theater and Segovia Cathedral. The Cathedral & Alcázar option includes a guided tour inside the cathedral, followed by free time.

Visit the fairy-tale Alcázar

Regroup at Plaza Mayor at the set time and head to the Alcázar of Segovia. This well-preserved medieval castle is said to have inspired castles in Disney films. After the visit, return to Madrid by coach in about 1 hour 30 minutes and get off near Plaza de Oriente.
