A friendly English-speaking team greets you at the meeting point and introduces the history of Longjing tea. Village entry, the experiences, the tasting and a pack of your own tea to take home are all included.

Pick tea leaves in a traditional outfit

Put on a traditional tea-picking outfit and take photos on the emerald terraced tea fields. Then head into the fields to learn how to identify premium leaves, choose tender buds and use the gentle picking techniques of experienced farmers.

Hand-roast the leaves in an iron wok

Watch and join the traditional hand-roasting process in an iron wok. Local experts teach you how to control the wok temperature and press and shape the leaves, revealing the secrets behind Longjing tea's flat shape, fresh aroma and smooth taste.

Taste freshly brewed Longjing tea

Wrap up with a relaxed tasting of freshly brewed premium green tea. You can take home the tea you made in a pack.
