Visit Baisha Old Town, an ancient Naxi settlement and the first capital of the Naxi Kingdom. Walk its quiet cobbled lanes, see centuries-old temples such as Dabaoji Palace, and browse a local embroidery school and artisan shops.

Capture Jade Dragon Snow Mountain at Black Dragon Pool

Head to Black Dragon Pool in Jade Spring Park, famous for its reflection of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and a favorite of photographers. Early morning and late afternoon light is especially good for photos.

Enjoy Lashi Lake wetlands and Yuhu Village

Continue to Lashi Lake, a national wetland reserve known for its biodiversity and cultural significance. You can ride a horse along the old Tea Horse Road, go boating or cycling, or relax by the lake. Finally, visit Yuhu Village at the foot of the mountains to see traditional Naxi life, architecture and grand mountain views.
