Leave your hotel and meet the chef
at Thai Charm Cooking School
After pickup from your hotel in Krabi Town or Ao Nang, travel to the cooking school. A chef with experience in a variety of kitchens leads the class in English or Thai and teaches authentic Thai cooking step by step.
Choose 7 dishes from more than 15 menu options
Pick one favorite dish from each category — soup, stir-fry, healthy salad, curry paste and chicken curry — and add 2 desserts to make 7 dishes in total. Signature Thai dishes such as pad thai, spicy shrimp soup and green, red and panang curry are on the menu.
Practice everything from curry paste to rice
Learn the key to each dish's flavor as you practice making curry paste by hand and cooking jasmine and sticky rice. You will also prepare fruit and a spicy Thai salad.
Finish with traditional desserts and taste your dishes
Finally, make two traditional desserts: sweet sticky rice with mango and banana in coconut milk sauce. After the class, taste the dishes you made and receive a recipe book and certificate so you can recreate them at home.

Pickup is available from all hotels in Krabi Town and Ao Nang. Guests staying at Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas should take the hotel shuttle boat to Noppharat Thara Pier in Ao Nang. Guests staying at Railay Beach meet at the boat ticket counter at Ao Nam Mao Pier, about 15 minutes by longtail boat from Railay East, and guests staying in Tonsai meet at the Phra Nang Inn reception in Ao Nang. Arriving more than 10 minutes late or after the guide has left the hotel may be treated as a no-show.
