Program
Walk through the rainforest
and swim in the Emerald Pool
After pickup by van from your hotel lobby, you travel about 40 minutes to Khao Pra Bang Khram Wildlife Sanctuary. You explore the tropical lowland rainforest with your guide for about 30 minutes; rare birds such as the gurney's pitta, red-throated kingfisher and black hornbill live here. A short walk through mangrove and peat swamp forest brings you to the wide Emerald Pool, where you have about 1 hour of free time to swim in crystal-clear, mineral-rich water.
Hike to the Blue Pool, the source of the stream
A little further on from the Emerald Pool, you can see the Blue Pool, the source of the stream. The hike takes about 20 minutes.
Relax at the secluded Wareerak hot spring spa
Next, you visit the Krabi hot springs, but instead of the crowded public area, you use the Wareerak hot spring spa away from the crowds. You can soak for about 1 hour in saline mineral hot spring water that reaches up to 42°C. It is a natural volcanic hot spring that many Thais visit, believing it is good for health, especially the skin.
Have a Thai lunch at a local restaurant
Enjoy a Thai-style lunch at a local restaurant in Khlong Thom Nuea and spend about 1.5 hours at leisure. Then return to your hotel by van in about 40 minutes.
