Highlights
Put on a harness and enjoy treetop courses and a long zipline at Forest Adventure Misato, an outdoor park in the forest of Misato Town, Kumamoto. The Zip Trip Course crosses Midorikawa Dam and back, 410 m out and 510 m on the return, the longest single zip slide in Japan. Choose between the advanced Adventure Course with treetop activities 15 m above the ground and the Zip Trip Course made up only of zip slides, then book a 10:00 or 14:00 time slot.

across Midorikawa Dam
The Zip Trip Course is the signature course of Forest Adventure Misato. This long round-trip zip slide crosses Midorikawa Dam, 410 m out and 510 m back. Terraced rice fields spread out in front of you for a great view. The course consists only of zip slides, so it is easy to enjoy even if you are short on time or not confident in your stamina. It takes about 1–2 hours.
Climb, cross and slide 15 m up in the forest on the Adventure Course
The Adventure Course is an advanced course with activities 15 m above the forest floor. It has many challenging activities for climbing, crossing and sliding, and the Tarzan swing, Minomushi chute and a zip slide of up to 120 m add to the thrill. It takes about 2 to 2.5 hours.
※ The Adventure Course does not include the round-trip zip slide across Midorikawa Dam.
Choose your course and time slot
Options differ by course (Adventure Course or Zip Trip Course) and start time (from 10:00 or from 14:00). Show your QR code at the reception at your reserved time to start.
※ It may take longer depending on how crowded the park is. You may stop partway if you wish.
※ Courses may be closed or use suspended due to weather or safety reasons.

Located next to Garden Place at Misato no Mori Campground. By car, it takes about 60 minutes from Kumamoto Airport (take the No. 2 Airport Line toward Mashiki-Kumamoto IC and turn left toward National Route 443), about 40 minutes from Mifune IC or Matsubase IC on the Kyushu Expressway, and about 60 minutes from central Kumamoto. A parking lot (30+ cars) is available.
