NANTA, a non-verbal kitchen comedy
at the Myeongdong NANTA Theater

NANTA is a non-verbal performance that turns an ordinary kitchen into a stage full of laughter and rhythm. Combining traditional Korean percussion with modern comedy and high-energy choreography, it follows four chefs racing to prepare a wedding banquet. With no spoken dialogue, international visitors can easily enjoy it, and the show runs 90 minutes with no intermission.

Exciting rhythms on knives and cutting boards

Knives, cutting boards, pots and frying pans all become instruments. Samulnori-inspired rhythms and fiery cooking scenes keep the audience clapping along.

A stage you share with the audience

During the show, audience members may be invited on stage or join a cooking game. Slapstick humor and acrobatics make it fun for both children and adults.

Myeongdong NANTA Theater, 3F UNESCO Building

The venue is the Myeongdong NANTA Theater on the 3rd floor of the UNESCO Building in Myeongdong. Shows run Mon-Fri 17:00 and 20:00, Sat 14:00, 17:00 and 20:00, and Sun and public holidays 14:00 and 17:00.
