Head out by boat
to meet whale sharks in the waters of Puerto Princesa
After pickup from your hotel in Puerto Princesa City, travel by car for about 45 minutes to Puerto Princesa Baywalk Wharf. Listen to a safety briefing for about 30 minutes, then board the boat and head out to sea in search of whale sharks. The tour is led by an English-speaking guide.
Search for whale sharks with help from local fishermen
The crew works with local fishermen, who share the latest locations where whale sharks have been sighted. Enjoy a comfortable boat ride while looking for marine wildlife, and learn about the role whale sharks play in the marine ecosystem.
Snorkel alongside whale sharks
When a whale shark is spotted, get in the water and snorkel with it in its natural environment. Keep a little distance as you watch it glide gracefully through the clear water. An expert guide will assist you, and snorkeling gear is available on board.
Enjoy a picnic lunch and return to the city
A picnic lunch is served during the tour. At the end of the day, you'll return to Puerto Princesa City, where the tour ends.
