Program
1. Departure from San Pedro de Atacama
Depart San Pedro de Atacama between 8:00 and 8:30 AM and head up to the highlands along the international road toward Argentina. Breakfast is included.
2. Bofedal de Quepiaco
Explore the Bofedal de Quepiaco, a high-altitude wetland with views of Licancabur Volcano and the Monjes de la Pacana.
3. Salar de Aguas Calientes · Salar de Quisquiro
Admire the landscapes of two salt flats spread across the highlands above 4,000 m. You may spot flamingos, Andean gulls and culpeo foxes.
4. Lunch and return
After lunch, return to the meeting point in San Pedro de Atacama at around 3:30 PM.
