Depart from Hue and
explore Bach Ma National Park for a day
After pickup from your hotel in central Hue, travel about 1.5 hours in an air-conditioned vehicle to the Bach Ma Visitor Center in the heart of the park. Before heading up the mountain, learn about the area's natural environment and take a short walk to the scenic KM12 viewpoint. Then ride a motorbike driven by park staff about 5 km to the trailhead. For safety reasons, visitors cannot drive the motorbikes themselves.
Hike through the rainforest to the Five Lakes
The main trek crosses the rainforest to the Five Lakes. Discover natural swimming pools, take a refreshing swim at Lake 3, and enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by forest. Swimming is optional.
Visit Do Quyen Falls and the Lady Buddha statue
Continue trekking to Do Quyen (Rhododendron) Falls, one of Bach Ma's most impressive natural sights. The waterfall drops about 300 m across the mountain landscape. On the way back, stop at the Lady Buddha statue in the forest.
Enjoy panoramic views from Hai Vong Dai
Finally, head up to Hai Vong Dai, a viewpoint about 1,450 m above sea level. Relax with tea or coffee while looking out over the Bach Ma mountains, Cau Hai Lagoon, Lang Co Beach, Hai Van Pass, Chan May Port and the surrounding villages. After the tour, return to Hue by vehicle and arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon.
