This is a Standard ticket for the 6:30 PM show at the Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theater on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street in District 1. For about 45–50 minutes, watch puppets dance and "swim" across a shallow water stage in this traditional Vietnamese performance.

The show is made up of several short acts. From everyday village life such as farming and fishing to dragon dances and mythical tales, Vietnamese folklore and legends come alive through the puppets. The puppeteers stay hidden behind a bamboo screen, so the puppets seem to move across the water on their own.

Live music from a traditional orchestra

Musicians playing Vietnamese folk instruments such as drums, flutes and cymbals perform live music and songs throughout the show. Colorful puppets, lighting and sound effects create a lively atmosphere.

No Vietnamese needed

The stories are told through the puppets' movements and music rather than dialogue, so it is easy to follow even if you do not understand Vietnamese. It is also a good fit for families traveling with children.
