at a workshop in Hoi An Old Town

This hands-on workshop takes about one hour in a sunlit studio in the heart of Hoi An Ancient Town. Choose either the premium scented candle workshop or the signature perfume workshop and make your piece from start to finish with a local artisan.

The instructor speaks English and Vietnamese, and the workshop runs indoors whatever the weather. No prior experience is needed, so it suits beginners, couples and friends.

Discover more than 30 natural essential oils

Start by exploring more than 30 pure essential oils from around the world, including Bulgarian rose, Provence lavender, Indian jasmine, bergamot and sandalwood. You also learn about the art and science of perfumery, blending, scent layering and proper care, so you can keep creating at home.

Create a 10 ml signature perfume

With the perfume option, an expert helps you balance top, middle and base notes to create your own eau de parfum (EDP). Your perfume comes in a 10 ml bottle and lasts about 8 to 10 hours.

Craft candles inspired by Hoi An

With the candle option, you use organic soy wax, eco-friendly cotton wicks and custom molds inspired by Hoi An lanterns, old tiled roofs and the Japanese Bridge to make 2 to 3 candles. Each candle burns for about 25 to 30 hours.

Your creations come with custom decal stickers in an elegant paper gift box. Local cakes and candies are served during the workshop.
