With an English-speaking guide, you ride through Kim Bong Carpentry Village and Duy Xuyen district, visiting family-run workshops, local homes, and an old clan temple. A bicycle and helmet, bottled water, and local snacks and tea are included.

Meet the artisans of Kim Bong Carpentry Village

Ride slowly through Kim Bong, a village that has carried on its carpentry tradition for centuries. In the workshops, you can watch artisans shaping and carving wood, as well as the delicate work of mother-of-pearl inlay, up close.

Visit mat weaving and ritual paper workshops

At family workshops in Duy Xuyen district, watch how mats are woven the traditional way and hear about the process. You also visit a workshop making ritual paper, a craft tied to Vietnamese ancestral customs. Stop at one of the oldest family clan temples to learn about traditional architecture, family structure, and stories from the Vietnam War.

Relax at a local home and a rice-paddy café

Step into a local home to see a traditional kitchen fueled by rice husks and how Mi Quang noodle sheets are steamed. The tour ends at a quiet countryside café overlooking the rice paddies. Enjoy a refreshing drink before returning to the starting point on Tran Hung Dao Street.
