Nha Trang Viet Garden Countryside Cooking Class - Market Visit & Hotel Pickup

Everything about this trip was amazing, there were only three of us attending but was ample. Chef Dat was great, explained everything to us and even bought me a gift to go home with. Would highly recommend this excursion.

It was truly an amazing experience. The cooking class instructor was also our guide and driver, and the service was exceptional in every way. Many cooking class tours have fixed menus, but Chef Dat took us around the market, explaining the ingredients while asking what kind of dishes we wanted to make and what foods we disliked. You can enjoy the process of discussing and deciding the menu with the chef and fully immerse yourself in the tour from start to finish. We didn’t just talk about cooking — we learned so much from Chef Dat about culture, Vietnamese family life, and the structure of traditional houses. The tour lasts about 5–6 hours, but our whole family enjoyed every moment. If we visit Nha Trang again, we would love to join the class once more and learn a different menu! とにかく最高な体験でした。よくある料理教室のツアーはメニューが決まっていることが多いですが、Chef Datは市場についてから食材を説明して回りながら、どんなメニューが食べたいか、どんな食材が苦手かなどたくさんヒアリングをしてくれます。どんどんシェフと話し合ってメニューを決めるところから楽しんでツアーを心ゆくまで楽しんで欲しいです！迷っていたら是非！

The cooking class with Dat was such a great experience! We really appreciated getting a chance to see more of the Vietnamese culture by visiting the local market, a small shop producing coconut oil and a house of a local Family. The cooking class was just wonderful. We cooked in a spacious kitchen in Dat‘s beautiful garden, he was extremely helpful, guiding us through the process and sharing the tips that will definitely upgrade our cooking skills. Overall, the trip was a great change from a crowded city, definitely very special and d different from typical tours offered in Nha Trang, giving you a chance to learn more about the local culture without big tourist groups.

Absolut empfehlenswert !!! Ted ist ein hervorragender Guid mit hervorragendem Englisch. Die Besuche in einer Bastmatten-Werkstatt, sowie alles Wissenswerte rund um die Kokosnuss waren sehr interessant. Das Highlight war natürlich das einkaufen auf dem heimischen Mart mit dem anschließendem kochen in der tollen Autdoor Küche bei Ted's wunderschönem Zuhause. Seine symeathischen Ehefrau war unsere stillen Helferin im Hintergrund und ihr süßer Hund machte das Ganze familiär. Und unser gekochtes Essen und vor allem die Zusammenstellung und Zubereitung waren wirklich etwas Besonderes!

We had a fantastic day! We were shown how to weave and even got to try it ourselves. We were also allowed to visit a Vietnamese family's home to see how people live there. We tasted coconut juice and saw how coconut juice was made. Later, we went to the market, where Dat explained the various products and gave us a taste. After the market, we started cooking. The food was delicious, and the cooking was very enjoyable. Dat explained to us how to eat the dishes the Vietnamese way. All in all, a successful and enjoyable day! We highly recommend to follow the cooking class if you visit Nha Trang!
