Get picked up from your hotel in central Da Lat between 8:00 and 8:30 AM and head to the base camp at Datanla Waterfall. You will be fitted with professional gear including a harness, life jacket, helmet, and ropes, plus a wetsuit and water shoes, and your experienced guide will first teach you the basic techniques and how to handle different situations.
With a guide who speaks English and Vietnamese, you will descend more than 8 km of jungle canyon, taking on one challenge after another. Photos and videos taken during the tour are provided free of charge. Choose between a group tour and a private tour.
Take on an 18 m cliff abseil and a 70 m zipline
The first challenge is an 18 m dry cliff. After learning how to control your speed on a vertical rock face, you abseil down on the rope. A few more descents take you to the bottom of a waterfall before you continue downstream.
Next, head further down the canyon to a 70 m Tyrolean traverse zipline down to the river. After abseiling another 15 m dry cliff, you can swim in a calm natural pool surrounded by forest.
Conquer the canyon with water slides and a 25 m waterfall
Slide down rocks worn smooth by the water. Hold your breath, cross your arms over your shoulders, and lie back as the current carries you downstream.
Then abseil down a waterfall 25 m high and 20 m wide. Finally, pass through the "washing machine" waterfall, where the current spins you around, to finish the canyoning.
Kayak and relax at the Tuyen Lam lakeside camp
After canyoning, move to a quiet lakeside camp and recharge with fresh fruit, snacks, and cold beer while listening to music. Paddle around the lake by kayak or stand-up paddleboard, go for a swim, or sit back and watch the sunset.
Around 4:00 PM, return to the base camp to change and ride back to your hotel. If needed, you can be dropped off at the bus station after the tour.
