Leave your hotel before dawn
to meet the sunrise above the clouds
Around 4 a.m., a pickup vehicle takes you from your hotel in central Da Lat to the sunrise point. Climb the hill before sunrise and watch the sea of clouds settle below as the sun comes up. Pho is available for purchase on site at the sunrise point (about 50,000 VND).
Take photos by the tea fields and wind turbines
On the hills around the sunrise viewpoint, lined with tea fields and wind turbines, take photos against the scenery of Da Lat, a highland city about 1,500 m above sea level.
Visit a persimmon farm and a strawberry farm
At the persimmon farm, see how persimmons are traditionally dried and taste them. Then try strawberry picking at a strawberry farm and enjoy the sweet berries. Thanks to its cool highland climate, Da Lat is one of Vietnam's best-known strawberry-growing areas.
Relax with a drink at a view café
