Da Lat Hon Bo Peak Sunrise & Cloud Hunting Trek - Hotel Pickup & Pho Breakfast

Climb Hon Bo Mountain at dawn
for Da Lat's sea of clouds and sunrise

This roughly 4-hour trekking tour picks you up from your hotel in central Da Lat before dawn and heads to Hon Bo Mountain. Hike through the forest to watch the sunrise and sea of clouds from the peak, then enjoy hot coffee, a pho breakfast and a visit to Linh Phuoc Pagoda. Transport, an English-speaking guide, entrance fees, bottled water and trekking poles are all included.

Hike through pine forest to the summit

After pickup between 4:30 and 5:00 AM, you pass Thai Phien flower village to reach the foot of Hon Bo Mountain. The 20 to 30-minute hike follows red dirt paths through pine forest, with some steep and rough sections where the provided trekking poles come in handy. Breathe in the fresh morning air and listen to the birds as you take in the nature of the Da Lat highlands.

Wait for sunrise with coffee at the top

Around 5:30 AM you reach Hon Bo Peak, where a sea of clouds spreads out below and the sun rises over Da Lat. Relax with hot coffee prepared by your guide, who will also take photos of you with the clouds as a backdrop. You will receive the photos right after the tour.

Pho breakfast and Linh Phuoc Pagoda

After coming down the mountain, have a hot bowl of pho at a local restaurant around 7:00 AM. Then visit Linh Phuoc Pagoda, known for its intricate decoration made from recycled materials, where you can ring the temple bell yourself. You will be dropped back at your hotel between 8:30 and 9:00 AM.
