Phu Quoc National Park Fairy Stream Suoi Tien Hiking Tour - Picnic Lunch

Hike the forest trails of Phu Quoc National Park
and relax at the Suoi Tien fairy stream

Your guide picks you up from your hotel and takes you to the forest entrance where the hike begins. In the morning, hike for about 2 hours to Suoi Tien; in the afternoon, spend about 3 hours swimming, having a picnic lunch and enjoying free time by the stream before hiking back. The tour takes about 6 hours in total, and start and end times may vary with the weather on the day.

Walk through primary forest
and learn about its ecosystem

Before setting off, your guide explains the itinerary and safety rules, checks your gear and leads a warm-up. The trail is divided into section 1 (700 m), section 2 (800 to 900 m) and section 3 (500 to 600 m), with section 3 being a more challenging optional part.

Along the way, see native trees such as melaleuca and wild garcinia, moss and ferns covering the rocks, and centuries-old giant trees draped with vines, while your guide explains Phu Quoc's forest ecosystem and you stop for photos. From around March to June, purple rose myrtle flowers bloom on the slopes.

Swim and relax in the cool stream

At Suoi Tien, swim in the cool freshwater stream flowing from the Ham Ninh mountain range or rest in the shade and take in the calm of the forest. The stream flows most strongly from May to October.

Enjoy a picnic lunch by the stream

Have a picnic lunch of local food by the water. After lunch, swim or explore the surrounding forest at your own pace. Finally, the group collects its rubbish, checks the gear and hikes back along the forest trail before the vehicle takes you back to your hotel.
