The south route starts at a pearl farm where you see how pearls are cultivated, harvested and crafted into jewelry. Then visit traditional workshops to learn how Phu Quoc's famous fish sauce and sim wine are made.

and the Coconut Tree Prison

Explore Ho Quoc Pagoda, the island's largest Zen Buddhist temple on a hillside facing the sea, then swim or relax at Sao Beach with its soft white sand and calm turquoise water. At the Coconut Tree Prison museum, preserved as it was during the war, learn about Vietnam's history.
