Highlights

A canyoning tour descending a volcanic rock canyon at Gitgit in northern Bali with a guide. Pass through 4 jumps (3–8 m), 5 water slides (2–7 m), a 20 m zipline and 6 abseils (7–15 m), and explore caves along the way. Instructors teach you from the basics, so beginners can join, and groups are small with a maximum of 10 people. Hotel pickup, equipment, breakfast and lunch, and GoPro photos and videos are included.

Program

Breakfast at the base camp
and gear up for canyoning

Pickup from your accommodation is around 6:00 AM, arriving at the base camp around 8:00 AM. Fill in the registration form and enjoy coffee or tea with a light breakfast, then get a briefing from your instructor and assistant and put on canyoning gear such as a wetsuit, harness, helmet and shoes.

Descend the volcanic rock canyon

After a drive through hills with views of clove gardens to the starting point, canyoning runs for 2–3 hours from around 9:00 AM. With your guide, enjoy water slides, jumps, abseils and a zipline in a canyon formed of volcanic rock, and explore caves.

There are 4 jumps (3–8 m), 5 slides (2–7 m), 1 zipline (20 m), 6 abseils (7–15 m) and a swimming section (10–15 m).

Lunch and your photos and videos

Return to the base camp around noon, shower and change, then enjoy lunch. Receive the GoPro photos and videos and head back to your accommodation around 1:00 PM.
