My husband and i traveled to both Ishigaki and Miyako island and this was the best snorkeling we did on our trip. The beach is incredible, the water is super clear, and its FULL of fish and turtles. What made the experience even better was our incredible guides Rintaro and Kyoka! They were super knowledgeable and helpful and made the day. Rintaro went above and beyond to show us all the best spots in the bay and took great photos of us that we received just a few hours later. Kyoka was super helpful in our snorkel as well as our pick up and drop off and gave us great recommendations for the rest of the day’s activities and where to eat at night. 10/10 i would recommend this activity to anyone visiting Miyakojima!

Very nice activity, we had the opportunity to swim with sea turtles and super cute fish. Shiho took great care of us and was insanely patient. Her English is very good and she always took the time to translate everything to everyone. She brought us right away to great spots and took good pictures of us. Nice memories. Thank you!

Meet at Shigira Beach
and head into the Miyako Blue sea

Meet your guide at the Shigira Beach parking lot to start the tour. Miyakojima has no rivers carrying soil into the sea, so it is known for its clear "Miyako Blue" water. Your guide chooses the best spot of the day based on the tide and weather.

After a safety briefing and snorkeling instruction, enter the warm emerald sea. Life jackets, special shoes and snorkeling gear are provided, and wetsuits are lent in winter.

Swim with tropical fish in a coral garden

Explore a coral garden home to many tropical fish, from clownfish to parrotfish. You can see the vivid colors of the coral and fish up close, making it enjoyable even for first-time snorkelers.

Visit spots where sea turtles often appear

The highlight of the tour is time with wild sea turtles. Sea turtles are often seen eating seagrass or resting near the reef, and your local guide takes you to places where they often appear.
