From Dubai: Red Dune Desert Safari & Sandboarding - Dune Buggy Option

Cross the red dunes
in a jeep

After pickup from your hotel in Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman, drive about 45 minutes to the desert. Enjoy around 1 hour of jeep dune bashing over high red sand dunes with a professional desert driver, with breaks to capture the desert scenery in photos.

Enjoy sandboarding and a camel ride

After a safety briefing, try 15 minutes of sandboarding down the smooth dunes. It is easy for beginners too. At the end of the adventure, take a short camel ride to experience the traditional way the Bedouins traveled the desert.

Drive a dune buggy yourself

If you choose an option with the dune buggy, you will drive a desert buggy yourself for 30 minutes. Each buggy carries 1 driver and up to 3 passengers, so your group can ride along while one person drives.

Enjoy a BBQ dinner at the evening desert camp

If you choose an option with the BBQ dinner, head to the evening desert camp for a BBQ dinner buffet with vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Watch belly dance, Tanoura dance and fire shows, and enjoy henna painting, photos in traditional Arabic dress and shisha in the designated area. Tea, coffee and refreshments are unlimited at the camp.
