From Dubai: Overnight Desert Safari & Al Khayma Camp Stay (Quad Bike or Luxury Dome Option)

Depart from Dubai
and spend a night in the Lahbab Desert

After pickup from your Dubai accommodation, travel to the Lahbab Desert in an air-conditioned 4WD vehicle. On arrival there is free time before the safari: relax while the vehicles are prepared for off-road driving, or ride a quad bike (if you chose the quad bike option).

Ride the dunes with dune bashing and sandboarding

Enjoy 30-45 minutes of dune bashing over the red sand dunes in a 4WD vehicle. Then try sandboarding down the dunes.

Enjoy shows and a BBQ dinner at Al Khayma Camp

At Al Khayma Desert Camp, you are shown to your air-conditioned private tent and offered kahwa (Arabic coffee), gaimat (sweet snacks) and dates. Ride a camel around the camp and, depending on the season, watch the sunset over the desert.

At camp, try shisha and henna tattoos (for women), and take photos with a falcon in traditional Arabic dress. Enjoy a BBQ buffet dinner with live performances such as an Arabian horse show, traditional Yolla dance and a fire show, then stargaze through a telescope once the camp lights go out.

End the day with a campfire and a sunrise camel trek

At night, ride a camel to a nearby camp, relax by the campfire and learn how to make Arabic coffee or tea. Early the next morning, watch the desert sunrise from a camel, return to camp for an Arabic breakfast, and head back to your Dubai accommodation.
