Ride a minivan from Levi
to the husky base
Meet in the parking lot in front of Burger King Levi and ride a minivan to the husky base near Lake Rautusjärvi. The drive takes about 15 minutes through snowy forests and fields. At the base, you meet the Alaskan and Siberian huskies that will pull your sled.
Take the reins and race across 5 km of snow
After a short safety briefing from the guide, you drive the sled yourself along a 5 km trail. The route crosses frozen lakes and snow-covered pine forests, showing off Lapland's winter scenery. Although you drive the sled yourself, a guide is with you to keep you safe and help out.
Meet husky puppies and reindeer
After the ride, you can play with 4-month-old husky puppies and take photos. There is also time to pet and bond with the huskies, and you can see and photograph reindeer in the nearby reindeer area.
Warm up with drinks and cookies in a cozy shelter
Warm up in a cozy rest hut with hot drinks and cookies. After the experience, the minivan takes you back to the meeting point.
※ For safety, the sled route may be adjusted depending on weather and trail conditions.
※ In extremely cold weather (–30°C or below), the tour schedule may change.
