Shanghai Yu Garden Adult Ticket & Hanfu Experience

Feel the charm of a Jiangnan garden
at Ming-era Yu Garden

This product lets you book either an adult ticket to Yu Garden, a classical garden in Huangpu District, Shanghai, or a Hanfu experience. Yu Garden was originally a private garden built in the Ming Dynasty by official Pan Yunduan for his father, and was designated a national key cultural relic protection unit in 1982.

Choose one entry slot: morning (entry 09:00–12:30) or afternoon (entry 12:30–16:00). Enter directly with the QR code sent by email, with no need to exchange for a physical ticket.

Stroll among pavilions, corridors and rockeries

Follow winding paths through Ming- and Qing-era buildings past pavilions, corridors, carved stone windows and tranquil ponds. Don’t miss the Zigzag Bridge, the Mid-Lake Pavilion and the Jade Exquisite, one of the three famous stones of Jiangnan. You can also admire well-preserved Ming and Qing furniture and calligraphy.

Dress in Hanfu for classic photos

The Hanfu rental option includes one Hanfu set for 8 hours with one makeup and styling session (photography not included). The Hanfu photoshoot option includes any outfit in the store, makeup styling, a 1-hour shoot with an English-speaking photographer and 4 retouched photos. Choose one shooting location from City God Temple, Yu Garden or the 1192-style street.

Neither Hanfu option includes Yu Garden admission.

Enjoy Shanghai snacks on Yu Garden Old Street

After the garden, stroll to the neighboring City God Temple and Yu Garden Old Street to taste local snacks like xiaolongbao and rice cakes or browse traditional handicrafts.
