Amazing event and experience! Only think I really not like was that after the event we’ve waited for almost 1 hour for people that were late…very disrespectful and due to that to was not enough time to enjoy beach and lunch…

This day trip takes you by coach from Barcelona to the small town of Buñol in Valencia province for the La Tomatina festival. The festival ticket and pre-party entry are included, and a guide accompanies you throughout. The guide speaks English and Spanish.

Ride the coach to Buñol

Meet in front of Hotel Catalonia Barcelona Plaza and take the coach to Buñol. The trip takes about 4 hours 30 minutes. A welcome drink, a vegan breakfast roll and a drink are provided.

Step into the middle of the tomato fight

Once you arrive in Buñol, you join the festival with your guide. The streets turn red as you throw tomatoes together with thousands of other participants.

La Tomatina began in 1945 as an improvised food fight during a parade. After a short ban, it returned in the 1950s and has continued ever since.

Free time in Valencia, then back to Barcelona

The coach ride from Buñol to Valencia takes about 45 minutes. In Valencia you have about 4 hours of free time to relax or go for a swim. After that, you ride the coach for about 4 hours back to the starting point in Barcelona.
