The National Museum of Natural Science collects representative natural specimens and related data, with exhibits on astronomy, physics, paleontology, zoology and anthropology. Beyond the must-see dinosaur models, there are many fun interactive devices that let adults and children explore natural science in an engaging way.

Your ticket gives access to the permanent exhibitions in the Life Science Hall, Human Cultures Hall, Global Environment Hall and Science Center. With the guidance of interpreters, you can gain a deeper understanding of the concepts behind each theme and the meaning of the exhibits.

Meet forest dinosaurs and a moving dinosaur model

Outdoors, dinosaur exhibits are hidden among the trees, making you feel as if you've stepped into Jurassic Park. The museum's popular 7-meter dinosaur model moves and roars realistically, delighting and thrilling children in equal measure.

You can also see the Brachiosaurus, a long-necked sauropod that grew up to five stories tall and could easily eat leaves from treetops.

Tour the Sunlight Corridor and ecological dioramas

In the Sunlight Corridor, see a replica of an ancient straight-tusked elephant made from fossils collected in the Penghu Channel. Seven lifelike ecological dioramas showcase Earth's diverse ecosystems, and animal specimens are displayed in dynamic running postures recreated with special techniques.

In the Oceania exhibition area, explore the region's unique natural environment, its people's culture and the stories behind the artifacts.

Learn about the ocean at the Marine Conservation Center

On the second floor of the exhibition hall, the Marine Conservation Center features a life-size white dolphin model and whale skeleton specimens. It is a space that encourages visitors to connect with, understand and cherish the ocean.

Each option comes with different extras

Depending on the option, your exhibition hall ticket (including the "Earth's Treasures" exhibition) comes with either truffle potato chips or a fruit sundae, an NT$50 coupon for Mr. Fossil (Museum Branch) inside the museum, or an NT$100 voucher for partner stores in Taichung's Caowu area. The ticket for two option is for two people entering together.
